In 1988, Ven. Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche and his brother Venerable Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche founded the Padmasambhava Buddhist Center (PBC), a nonprofit organization whose aim is to establish and spread the authentic teachings and practices of Tibetan Nyingma Buddhism. The Venerable Khenpo Rinpoches are the founders, directors and spiritual leaders of the various Padmasambhava Buddhist Centers throughout the world.
PBC has centers in the United States, as well as in Puerto Rico, Russia and India. The primary center is Padma Samye Ling, located in Delaware County, New York. Near Deer Park in Sarnath, India, Padmasambhava Buddhist Center also includes a traditional Tibetan Buddhist monastery and nunnery.
The Rinpoches travel extensively within the United States and throughout the world, giving teachings at numerous retreats and seminars, and establishing meditation centers.
